Follow the instructions below to correctly enter the Form 1098-T Tuition Statement:

  1. Select Add Form.

  2. Begin by typing 1098-T, into the search bar at the bottom of the All Forms and Schedules Menu.

  3. Select Form 1098-T. Double-click to add the form.

  4. Complete the 1098-T, filling in all applicable sections.

    Entering Form 1098-T will generate the 8863-Part III if box 1 (payments) is greater than box 5 (scholarships and grants). You must complete the 8863-Part III. For instructions on how to complete 8863-Part III see 8863 Part III Education Credits (American Opportunity and Lifetime Learning Credits).
