This article demonstrates how to setup CrossLink 1040 to automatically generate the taxpayer and spouse's PIN on Form 8879. |
Follow the instructions below to successfully setup CrossLink 1040 to automatically complete the PIN information:
Login Log in to CrossLink 1040 with Admin Rights.
Click Setup > Office Setup.
Select the Electronic E-Filing tab.
Put a check in the Generate Taxpayer/Spouse PIN (Auto Generate PINs for Software 2019 and below) check box.
Click OK.
