Web Portal - Switching Bank Selections

Switching bank selection may be determined by what time of the year it is or if you have/have not begun transmitting tax returns.

Use the available tips below to determine your outcome:

  1. If the season has not started you can change banks.

  2. If the season has started you will need to stop using your EFIN. We will have to clear out any returns in the queue between the transmitter, the Bank, and the IRS. This process can typically take 4-6 weeks.

  3. If you have begun transmitting returns and wish to change banks, a Bank Change Form (located in the Portal under the downloads section) must be completed and signed by the account owner.  You will also need to provide a copy of your photo ID.
