PayJunction - Saving PayJunction API Credentials in CrossLink 1040

Follow the instructions below to successfully save your PayJunction API Credentials in CrossLink 1040.

 

Activate Your Smart Terminal

Instructions to activate PayJunction's ZeroTouch terminal can be found here:

Create PayJunction API Credentials (in Payjunction)

1. Log into your PayJunction account as an Administrator.

2. Click More > API Credentials.

3. In the top-right corner of this view, click + New API Credentials.

4. Leave the User Type set to "Unrestricted Credentials."

5. Enter a First NameLast Name, and Email Address.

To ensure that report titles lineup properly between PayJunction and CrossLink, please use the following naming convention:

  • FIRST NAME = CrossLinkAPI

  • LAST NAME = Name of the location or business unit (no spaces)

  • EMAIL ADDRESS = noreply@payjunction.com

6. Create a new unique Login and Password.

For the LOGINUSER ID: Use the same First and Last Name listed above (no spaces).

For the PASSWORD: Use at least 8 characters, with at least one uppercase, one lowercase, and one number.

7. Click Create.

 

Save the API Credentials in CrossLink 1040

 1. Log into CrossLink 1040 as an Administrator.

2. Open a tax return.

3. Click Payments.

4. Click the PayJunction tab.

5. Enter the PayJunction API Credentials.

6. Click OK.

 

Congratulations! Once you have successfully completed this process, all other PayJunction payments will be automatically connected to your PayJunction account on future tax returns.
