Transmitting

In the Desktop software, you must Transmit to Central Site to receive updates and information from the IRS, state agencies, and Central Site.  Transmitting allows your software to connect with the Central Site and provides you with software updates, tax checks that are ready to be printed, information regarding tax returns, IRS and state agency responses, and management record updates.

Steps to Transmit to Central Site:

1. From the Work In Progress Summary (WIP) select Transmit to Central Site from the Transmit Queue.
   
   

   Open

   

    

2. Select OK
   
   

   Open

   

    

3. Select Transmit
   
   

    

4. Select OK when communication is successful
