1040 - VC++ 2010 Unable to install 32 bit Driver

This article demonstrates how to fix “VC++ Unable to install 32 bit Driver” error message when installing CrossLink 1040 2022 on a Windows 11 computer.

The version of VC++ 2010 is not compatible with Crosslink.

Follow the instructions below to successfully install CrossLink 1040 when seeing the VC++ error:

1. Right-click the Crosslink 2022 icon > Show More Options > Open File Location.

2. On the right-hand side, navigate to and double-click the Utils.

3. Once inside of the Utils folder, locate and double-click the exe file (4,879 kb).

4. Run the file and complete the installation.
