Follow the instructions to successfully setup CrossLink 1040 to save .pdfs with the primary SSN/EIN:
1. Click Setup > Printer Setup.
2. Click Print Options.
3. Select Use SSN/EIN for file name.
4. Click OK.
🖐 Note: When you print the document to .pdf, the program will specify the taxpayer's SSN or the business EIN as the default file name for .pdf files.
