This article demonstrates how to import TaxPass App returns and Documents with CrossLink Online.

 

The ability to view and retrieve TaxPass App Returns and Documents is allowed by the Access Level that is assigned with your login.  Currently, the only default Access level that cannot process TaxPass App Retrieval is the "Reception” Access Level type.

 

Follow the instructions below to successfully retrieve TaxPass App returns and documents:

1. Click, Tax Returns on the sidebar.

2. At the top right, click on the dropdown arrow that is next to the "New Return +" button or if you see a notification pop-up “Import Mobile Returns", you can click on "Import Mobile returns."

 

 

3. In the next menu, you will see the returns that have been started with TaxPass. If no return exists with that SSN yet, you will see an ‘Import’ button on the right-hand side.  Clicking this will create a new return populated with this information. 

 

 

If a return already exists with that SSN, instead you will see a button that says ‘Update’. Clicking this button will append that return with the information from TaxPass.
