Taxpayers must include Form SSA-1099 with their return if they are otherwise required to file
Social Security benefits can be 50-85% taxable
Taxpayers receiving SSI will not receive this form

Select Add Form.
Select Locate and select Form SSA-1099. Double-click to add the form.
If a joint return, choose New Taxpayer's or New Spouse's Occurrence.
Complete the SSA-1099, filling in all applicable sections.
If the taxpayer has Medicare premiums deducted add all premiums together, enter them in the bottom left corner of the SSA-1099, and link to SCH A.
