1040 - When Clicking on Retrieve/Transfer Return Nothing Happens

This article describe what to do when the user attempts to retrieve or transfer returns and the windows Open or Save dialog box does not appear.

The software will automatically try to load or save from the location that has been set. In order to get the Load/Save dialog box to appear you will need to remove the Retrieval path and/or Transfer path.

 

Follow the instructions below to successfully fix the dialog box not appearing:

 

Removing the Retrieval Path

  1. Click Setup Local Setup.

  2. Locate the field next to Retrieval Path

  3. Delete the value in the field.

  4. Click OK.

🖐  Note: The next time you click on Retrieve Returns you will be prompted with the Load dialog box.

 

 

Removing the Transfer Path

  1. Click Setup > Local Setup.

  2. Locate the field next to Transfer Path

  3. Delete the value in the field.

  4. Click OK.

🖐  Note: The next time you click on Transfer returns you will be prompted with the Save dialog box.
