Starting a new tax return in CrossLink Business will require two items for the initial creation. Users must enter the Employer ID Number and select the entity type.
Follow the instructions below to successfully create a new Crosslink Business tax return:
1. Click Add New from the toolbar.
The Business Returns tab must be selected prior to adding a new return.
2. Enter the Employer ID Number (EIN) in both fields, and select the entity type that applies.
3. Click OK to create the new return and proceed to the Client Data Screen for this entity.
