Within a return, all data entry fields have unique corresponding Field Codes. Field Codes are then used in Crosslink 1040, to designate which data entry fields will be locked from data entry.
Complete the following to successfully export the restricted field codes from CrossLink 1040:
1. Click Setup.
2. Click Restricted Forms/Field.
3. Select the Restricted Fields tab.
4. Click Export.
5. Designate a location, enter a File name and Save the text file.
