How to update the EIN database
This article explains how to update EIN database information in CrossLink TaxProAlliance.
To update EIN database information, follow these steps –
Log in to CrossLink TaxProAlliance as a user with administrator rights.
Open the Work In Progress Summary (WIP).
From the top menu, select Database → Employers/Payers.
Select the EIN to be changed.
Click Edit.
Make the necessary changes to the information displayed.
Click Save to save the changes.
To delete an EIN –
Log in to CrossLink TaxProAlliance as a user with administrator rights.
Open the Work In Progress Summary (WIP).
From the top menu, select Database → Employers/Payers.
Select the EIN to delete and then click Delete.
On the Database Delete window, click Yes.
