This article demonstrates how to disable invoicing in CrossLink TaxProAlliance.

When you disable invoicing, the program will not calculate billing amounts on a per-form basis

To disable invoicing, follow these steps

    1. Log in to CrossLink TaxProAlliance as a user with administrator rights.

    2. Click Setup → Billing Setup.

    3. Select the Disable Invoicing check box.

    4. Make note of the name of the billing scheme that is being used.

    5. Click OK.

    6. On the Setup menu, click Office Setup.

    7. Select the General Tab at the top.

    8. Make sure that the 1040 Billing field has the same selection than the billing scheme name of step 3.

    9. Click Ok.

On all returns created after you have disabled invoicing, no invoice will be present. To remove the invoice from existing returns, you will need to reload billing.

To reload billing on existing returns, follow these steps

    1. Open the return.

    2. On the Return menu, click Re-Load Billing or CTRL + U.

    3. The invoice will be removed.
