Who is a Household Employee?

A household employee must meet the following requirements

• Provide a service at the taxpayers home

• Be told what to do and how to do it by the employer

Independent contractors like plumbers, repairmen, etc. are not included

Taxpayer’s who have a household employee will most likely have to complete SCH H.
