This article demonstrates how to locate your EFIN for hosted/desktop and CLO.

What is an EFIN?

An EFIN is a nine-digit number assigned by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to businesses and other entities that allows them to file taxes.

Locating Your EFIN Hosted/Desktop

  1. Login to your tax software.

  2. Select Database from the menu items.

  3. Select EF Originators.

  4. The EFIN will be displayed. DO NOT change the ERO name, this is setup by CTTS and should not ever be changed.

Locating Your EFIN CrossLink Online

  1. Login to your tax software.

  2. Open the Profile Menu.
