CLO - Capturing the Preparer Signature

In order for the preparer to electronically store their signature in CLO, you will need to capture the Preparer’s Signature for each designated preparer.
Follow the instructions below to successfully capture the Preparer Signature:
Method 1: Capturing the Preparer Signature from the Profile Menu
The preparer signature can be captured from the Profile Menu ONLY if the login used is a Preparer Type login (see Understanding the Login Type).
1. Log in to CLO at the office level with a preparer login.
2. Click on the Profile Menu.
3. Click on Capture Preparer Signature.
4. Capture the preparer's signature (see Onscreen Capture vs Signature Pad Capture).
Method 2: Capturing the Preparer Signature from the Setup Menu
1. Log in to CLO at the office level.
2. Click on Office Settings from the Side Navigation Bar.
3. Click Preparer.
4. Locate the desired preparer and click Capture Signature.
5. Capture the preparer's signature (see Onscreen Capture vs Signature Pad Capture).
